His (Hitler's) sketch divided the gallery into two sections, of twenty-eight and thirty-two rooms each. One section was devoted to his favorite painters at the time. He wrote their names on the side of the sketch and specified room by room where their works were to be displayed, and even indicated by line and arrow the path imagined visitors were to follow through the gallery. -Hitler And The Power of Aesthetics, p.186.
